Abstract

The article is devoted to the development of the concept of “extended cyborg”, which conceptualizes various aspects of interaction between people and intelligent computer technologies. It is shown that cyborgization does not imply an invasive combination of the human body and computer technologies, but represents the integration of cyber technologies and human experience. Such cyborgization is often interpreted as an anthropological threat, but the article shows that it is an ambivalent phenomenon integrated into the immanent ways of human interaction with material reality. In this regard, the ontology of expanded cyborgization is considered, as well as its two important aspects – cognitive and political.
